Welcome to Midwest Eye-Banks' online community for donor families in Illinois, Michigan and New Jersey. You made the difficult decision to give the gift of sight and, possibly, the gift of life by consenting to donate your loved one's eyes, organs or tissue. This is a place where you can pay tribute to the memory of your loved one by sharing something of their life. It is also a tribute to you, the donor's family, for choosing to share that person's life in the most meaningful way we know.

Donor tributes are listed alphabetically. Tributes submitted under a donor’s name are indexed by last name, first name (e.g., under "S" for "Smith, John"). Tributes submitted for an anonymous donor are indexed by the title given to the tribute (e.g., under "M" for "My Son’s Gift").

Tributes will not appear immediately after they are submitted. We thank you for your patience as we work to resolve technical difficulties and restructure the tribute submission process. Until a new site is completed, tribute completion time is unknown. We apologize for any inconvenience, but please be assured that each Donor Tribute is handled with care and will be added as soon as possible.

Each tribute is reviewed and, if necessary, edited prior to being added to this site.
