John G. BlanzyWhat HappenedWhat happened - it seemed like only yesterday you were there smiling with everyone, laughing, having a good time like you always did. It was all too sudden when I got the call on 11/5/04; it was mom telling me that you were on your way to the hospital. Right then and there my life slowly faded. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was like, I was just with him yesterday, talking to him. That was my step-dad, but the thing was, he treated me as one of his own. Still, to this day, it is hard to do some of the things I used to do without thinking it's what we used to do. I know you're with me when the wind blows and the sun shines, but it will never be the same. It's been 5 months now and there isn't a night I don't go through the house wondering what it would be like if you were there with us still. Loving you and thinking of you always,
